Directions from the A1 by car
If you are travelling north (from the M25) exit the A1 at junction 4.  If you are travelling south then exit at junction 6.  From here just follow signs for Welwyn Garden City town centre.  As you come into the town, park your car in the Howard Centre multi-storey car park.  Exit the car park into the Howard Centre (a covered shopping precinct) and get to the ground floor.  Exit the Howard Centre onto Howardsgate (a tree-lined boulevard!) and take the right hand path past McDonalds.  Stonehills is your first right hand turn and the entrance to Stonehills House is just up on your right in between Evans and Shoe Fayre.

Directions by rail
Welwyn Garden City mainline station is served from central London by Kings Cross and from the north by Stevenage, Hitchin, Letchworth and, ultimately Peterborough.  The platform is attached to the Howard Centre (a covered shopping precinct).  As you come off the platform, there will be an escalator in front of you that will take you to the ground floor.  Exit the Howard Centre onto Howardsgate (a tree-lined boulevard!) and take the right hand path past McDonalds.  Stonehills is your first right hand turn and the entrance to Stonehills House is just up on your right in between Evans and Shoe Fayre.
